Back from Break
I am back in school now after a weeklong winter break. It was wonderful to have a rejuvenating time away from school. I actually didn’t have a hard time getting up in the morning, but I did not really want to come back. In homeroom, my friends and I discussed whether we think Curling should be considered a sport. So, here is an overview of what I did on my break. On Saturday, I tutored one of the kids I tutor. The other one was on vacation. On Sunday, I hung out with my family and had a lazy day. On Monday, I got my vacation homework done. On Tuesday, we cleaned the house for the guests we would have over later in the week. We also went shopping a little. On Wednesday, my younger (not youngest) sister had a friend over and they played in the snow and played pretend. On Thursday, my youngest sister had her Japanese friends over and they played. We did a winter Olympics of our own. The Japanese friends might have to go back to Japan in the next few weeks. They are pretty sure they have to, but they don’t know for sure. (They don’t want to go back!) We also had some other friends over for dinner. This time, the adults came too. The adults have one child, who we played with. We put on a show that was downright hilarious! On Friday, we went to my doctor in the city and went to lunch with my dad. We tried to take a special tour, but it got postponed, so we went to the library. On Saturday, we cleaned the house and had some other people over. This time it was just grown-ups, so it was boring. On Sunday, we went back into the city and went to a market and looked at a Gym. It was fun, and right on the water. So that’s my week. If you want to comment, you can start the debate: Should curling be considered a sport?

Winter Break
I am terribly sorry if I have not blogged in awhile. I am on winter break from school and my whole schedule is off. Today one of my sister's friends is coming to my house. They are currently playing with each other. Tomorrow, the director of my music school and her daughter are coming for dinner. On Saturday, my sister's teacher is coming for dinner. So, I am quite busy. It has snowed a few more inches on top of what is already on the ground. My little sisters want to have a winter olympics, so they will be "training" this week for a backyard olympics. This will not be too hard because we have a hill in our backyard. So that is essentially what I will be doing this week, and you might not hear from me again until school starts again on Monday. If I have any urgent matters to blog about, you'll hear from me sooner.

Snow Day!
Yesterday my school was closed and I had a snow day! It snowed more than a foot. My sisters who go to public school were also off from school. Today, school started 90 minutes later than it normally does so that everyone has extra time to get there through the snow. Yesterday I shoveled snow with my family and then played in the snow with my sisters. Of course, I had to film it all, so it is all on tape now. Well, that's all for now, but soon I will have to tackle a difficult subject to write about - school.

Emmie is on Facebook!
Emmie, the little girl with DiGeorge sydrome who I blogged about earlier now has a facebook page! You can find it anytime in the links section on my sidebar. For those of you who don't know about her, she is a ten year old who has been very strong in the face of all the suffering she has gone through. Due to her disease, she has had a cardiac arrest, numerous open heart surgeries, a flat line egg (no brain activity) and now has to be fed through a g-tube. Miraculously, she has lived to tell the story. She tells everyone about how Christ healed her. Wow! If anyone is able to read this blog, please visit her website and facebook page and pray for her. Thank you!

Delicious!
For a chemistry project, I had to bake chocolate chip cookies! We will sell them later this week at a bake sale to raise money for the earthquake survivors in Haiti. I was not able to take a picture of the cookies, but I found a picture on Google that looks a lot like them!

Once my friends and I made up a song about chocolate chip cookies invading the world. Hurrah for cookies! Yum!
